Are You Too Old To Know What These Words Mean?

Don't worry, we're here to help. Here's what we're talking about:

  • Sendy: Sendy is actually a slang word that's existed for like 15 years, especially in frat culture in the US. It comes from the phrase "let's send it". But these days, it's used ironically (in part to make fun of the same frat culture it began in).
  • Shotty: Shotty has similar origins. It actually means "to shotgun" (like, to shotgun a beer) and again, is now used ironically. On TikTok, users will pretend to accidentally "hit the shotty" with a sandwich or a soda, which is meant to make fun of frat culture.
  • 6-7-endy: This is a joke inside of a joke (classic). "6-7" is an extremely popular joke that doesn't really reference anything in particular, and "6-7-endy" is a play on 6-7 and "sendy."
